Your Visit to Advanced Pain Care
Appointments
During your first appointment, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation by Dr. Mark Greenberg. Your treatment starts with a proper diagnosis, followed by ongoing re-evaluations during the course of your care. Dr. Greenberg sees patients referred by other practitioners, as well as or those without referrals.
What to Expect
Your initial consultation and evaluation will last 30 to 60 minutes. During the visit we will discuss your condition and determine a treatment plan that fits your individual needs.
We will call to confirm your appointment on the business day prior to your visit. If you have an outgoing message that identifies your phone number or name, we will leave a reminder regarding your appointment. If you have no identifier on your answering machine, we will not be able to leave a message. Due to space constraints in the exam room, we typically allow one other person with you in the room during your appointment.
Patients who are late for their appointment or check-in time may need to be rescheduled. By completing the necessary paperwork prior to your appointment, we will be able to minimize your wait time. You can print and complete patient forms from our website, or access them through our Patient Portal.
What to Bring
Please bring to your first appointment:
- Patient forms, filled out
- A list of all your current medications
- A list of allergies you may have
- Insurance information and photo I.D.
- Your questions. Feel free to call ahead of your appointment, or bring a list with you. You can also find information on our FAQ page.
Billing and Insurance
We work with our patients to determine the best treatments suited for both your medical needs and financial needs.
Dr. Greenberg is a member of PrimeCare and accepts all insurance plans contracted with PrimeCare. In addition, we accept Medicare, WC, PIP claims, and most OHP plans. However, while some insurance companies may cover some traditional chronic pain treatments, many do not recognize regenerative options as coverable care. If you have questions regarding coverage, please discuss potential treatments with our front office staff. Patients are responsible for any deductibles and/or co-pays required by their insurance plan, and payment is expected at the time of service. Please contact our front office to discuss any special payment options or plans.
We accept checks, credit cards, debit cards and PayPal as well as cash payments.
In cases of hardship, special arrangements and payment plans may be available. Please discuss options with our front office personnel prior to any treatments.
